NLI (NetLink Interface) Beta Test - Updated 8/10/2001

NLI is a replacement for NetLink with the following advantages:

  • Functions without the need for microsoft MDAC and DCOM components
  • Allows you to save data directly to your PC as .csv files
  • Allows you to set proxy directly on the NLI Setup screen (with AutoDetect)
  • Adds "Sync to web" 
  • Better data protection during upload
  • Increased compatibility across systems 

If you are familiar with NetLink you will have no trouble finding your way around NLI's interface.

If you choose to test NLI we ask that you send a brief email to techsupport@fitsense.com describing your experience and whether you encountered any problems.  Please include the words "NLI Beta" in the subject of any messages.

NOTE:  You DO NOT have to un-install NetLink to test NLI (even though it suggests it in the NLI install).  You must however set NetLink to NOT automatically run on start-up.  To do this go the NetLink Com Setup screen and uncheck the box next to "Start NetLink on PC startup"
Do this now and then Exit NetLink so that it's not in the System tray.

The help page is evolving.  Please check it and this page before emailing us with questions.  This page and the help page will likely be updated often.

If your current install of NetLink is functioning, please make sure that you upload any data that you consider critical.  Although NLI has been tested, we can not guarantee your data.
